Week 14 FantasiesLast week Jay Fiedler and Chris Chambers feasted on the ‘Boys and Matt Hasselbeck continued to wreak havoc on his foes. There were also oodles of dazzling ground performances as Marshall scored a hat trick and Clinton and Priest rewarded their fantasy owners for using their first round draft choices on them. So who will bust out with a big performance in Week 14? As always, we chicks are prepared to share our hot hunches! Fantasy Studs: Stephen Davis (RB, Panthers): Carolina’s relentless workhorse must be licking his chops at the prospect of having another date with the Atlanta boys. In Week 4 Stephen pounded the Falcons for 153 yards and a score and now he is back and looking for more! Deuce McAllister (RB, Saints): Deuce has cut loose for over 100 rushing yards in nine straight games including 110 yards in his Week 9 matchup against the Bucs. Since then McAllister has only picked up steam producing an average of 222 total yards in his last three games. The Bucs appear to have packed it in for the year and Deuce will deliver their final knockout blow. Travis Henry (RB, Bills): Last week Henry finally ended his four-game scoring drought and pleasured his fans with his fourth 100-yard rushing performance in the last six games. Look for Travis to kick off December with a bang against one of the league’s softest rush defenses. Matt Hasselbeck (QB, Seahawks) and Darrell Jackson (WR, Seahawks): After a sluggish start, Matt is repeating last year’s ferocious fantasy finish and has tossed eight touchdowns in the last two weeks. This week should be another doozy for Matt’s fantasy owners as he throws some strikes against the Vikes. Expect another big week out of Matt’s favorite scoring partner, Darrell Jackson, who has produced over 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns in each of the last two games. Rising studs: Mike Vick (QB, Falcons): Quick Vick is back just in the nick of time for fantasy owners who are looking for a playoff boost. While Mike did not put up luscious stats in his limited performance last week, he should be ready for a lot more action as the Falcons try to play the role of spoiler. With Vick back in the starting lineup, Peerless Price’s price tag also goes up! Last week Peerless appeared to come to life once his favorite gunslinger stepped onto the gridiron. Tyrone Wheatley (RB, Raiders): While Charlie Garner continues to torment his fantasy owners with anemic performances Tyrone has stormed to the forefront with at least 75 rushing yards in each of his last four games. Wheatley faces a tough matchup against the Steelers, but if you are slacking at running back Tyrone is certainly worth a peek. Anthony Wright (QB, Ravens): Well, maybe this surprise stud is not a one-week wonder after all! Wright proved he is the right man for the job once again tossing two more touchdowns against the 49ers. Anthony will need to come up big again in Week 14 as his ravenous unit takes on sizzling Jon Kitna and his pumped up Bengals. Kevan Barlow (RB, 49ers): With Garrison Hearst on the mend, Barlow finally gets a real chance to strut his stuff. Coach Erickson is promising Kevan will see oodles of action as the 49ers host the ugly birds from Arizona. The Cards should be easy prey which means lots of second half carries for Barlow. Fantasy duds: Domanick Davis (RB, Texans): Davis dazzled last week with 101 yards and two scores, but he will be in for quite a challenge next week as he heads to Jaguar country. The Jaguar run defense is allowing a league-low 3.2 yards per carry and they are playing with loads of confidence. Better luck next week, Dom! Jay Fiedler (QB, Dolphins): Jay has made quite a splash since rejoining his fellow ‘Fins. But you can count on crafty Coach Belichick to rain on Jay’s parade as the Patriots flex their mighty muscles against their divisional rival. Trent Green (QB, Chiefs): Trent has been enjoying an enviable season but his fantasy owners may be in for a Mile High disappointment as he faces off against the league’s second best pass defense.
