Well I didn't receive any opinions last week on the Kevin Harvick, Ricky Rudd incident so lets just get to this weeks picks.
This week is a toss up between Jimmie Johnson and Ryan Newman. Jimmie has won here twice and Ryan is always in the top 10. Granted this is only their second year racing. So who else has a shot this week? As always you can never count Jeff Gordon out. It's been a little while since Jeff's been to victory lane in his own car. I think he would rather drive there than walk there to shake Jimmies hand. Tony Stewart and Bobby Labonte are other serious contenders at Dover. Either of these guys could break back into the win column this week. Matt Kenseth has had a number of top 10 finishes at Dover and both Mark Martin and Jeff Burton run well here. Dale Earnhardt jr. is a past winner at Dover and survived a broken valve spring last week to come away with a top 5 finish. Kevin Harvick and Robby Gordon also run extremely well at Dover and both have been running very well for the last 2 months. Ricky Rudd and Bill Elliott have been really running well the last couple of weeks and should be watched closely now to see if the improvement continues as the season winds down. Two guys that always seem to come away with impressive finishes at Dover are Ricky Craven and Johnny Benson. Maybe its the Pontiac style that gets them to the front here. Whatever the case, they are 2 guys to use to make up some ground in your fantasy leagues. Thats my take for this week.
