Week 11 FantasiesIt is Thanksgiving week and boy, do we ever have a lot to be thankful for! In Week 9, it was the studly running backs that rocked the gridiron. But last week, it was all about the passing game. We chicks just love when our favorite quarterbacks go nuts. Eight quarterbacks threw for over 300 yards as our boys took to the air. We chicks are fantasizing about more of the same as we set our sights on some good ol’ holiday football. Fantasy Studs: Brett Favre: As tantalizing as Charlie Batch was last week, Jake Plummer was even better. Unfortunately the Lion defense has a knack for bringing out the best games in opposing quarterbacks. Favre may be a tad off his game lately, but a matchup against the Detroit boys will give him a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Mike Anderson: We chicks must admit that we are very disappointed in the Broncos running game this season. With three super-studs in the backfield we expected more than 114 rushing yards per game. The Cowboys run defense started the season tough, but it appears the ‘Boys are starting to crack. It could be a Thanksgiving feast for Anderson and his Broncos who are in desperate need of a win if they want to stay in the playoff hunt. With Terrell Davis out, it is up to Anderson to carry the load. Garrison Hearst: The 49ers heroic back is one of the greatest comeback stories of the year. With his beefy production over the past month, Garrison has secured his position as the number one running back while Kevan Barlow has taken a backseat. The Colts have never had any problem scoring, but unfortunately they cannot resist watching other teams score either. Randy Moss: Well, it looks like Mr. Moss has decided to play the second half of the season after all. His timing is perfect as the Bears have the worst pass defense in the league. Fantasy Duds: Eddie George: Once we chicks thought this Titanic back had the hottest legs in the league. But this season he has been disappointing us week after week. The road is not getting any easier for Eddie this season as he matches up against the pumped up Steelers, who have one of the stingiest run defenses in the league. Travis Henry: The Miami boys were once again spooked out by the scary Jets last week. However, they are a different team when the New Yorkers are not around. The Dolphins will be motivated to redeem themselves as they fight to regain the top spot in the AFC East. Unfortunately Henry picked a bad week to go head to head against the jilted Dolphins.
